The impact of sustainability on the quality of the internal tourist environment (Sustainable Tourism - Siwa Oasis)

Abstract

This research paper aims to provide a comprehensive vision about the role of sustainability in tourist environments and the extent of their contribution to achieving sustainable development, especially in achieving environmental quality within internal spaces in order to preserve the environment and the health of users, by addressing the knowledge of what sustainability is and its objectives, and the different systems used to assess sustainability while shedding light on the Egyptian green system and its objectives Addressing the internal environmental quality points to be achieved within the sustainability points of the green system.

We will discuss here a study of the Egyptian tourist environment by addressing the Siwa Oasis as a sustainable tourist environment, as well as identifying tourism development in Egypt and some guidelines to achieve tourism sustainability through some simple intervention mechanisms for sustainable buildings in Egypt.

There has become an urgent necessity to achieve sustainable interior design to meet comfort and safety and reduce internal environment pollutants in the building, and there are many sustainable designs that achieve the aesthetic and functional aspect together, and raise the efficiency between the building and the environment.
