Abstract

Archaeological writings are one of the most important and oldest visual heritage arts known to man,, Being an art of traditional crafts, and has a lot of literary legacies, wisdom, proverbs, Quranic verses and poetic verses, It also includes archaeological information related to the archaeological building such as its history and description, therefore It is a recording of the events of those who preceded us, to protect a permanently ephemeral visual heritage through writing. Based on the importance of archaeological writings in enriching artistic creativity it’s made us interested in one of those writings found in one of the Egyptian ancient houses, the House of Suhaimi dating back to the Ottoman era, using the Metadata standards VRA and CDWA that ensure the protection of documents and art heritage objects, and the related tools to produce these works of art in an attractive way, It included accurate descriptions and documentation and made available in a safe way, emphasizing our cultural and heritage identity. Being part of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage. Based on the historical and descriptive method. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The role of international descriptive standards in the preservation of archaeological materials and their impact on the preservation of cultural heritage.
