Abstract

Recently, the need for terry cloth (towels) has increased. As it represents a wide sector of textile production sectors; Because of its great and distinct importance in covering many dimensions of use by the consumer.
Therefore, the research aims to use bamboo yarn as warp and pile in pile fabrics because of its specifications that make it of great value and importance among other types of different materials.
The production of drying fabrics of various types has been closely linked to the cotton raw material, as it is one of the most raw materials that fulfill the functional requirements of these fabrics, such as absorbing liquids, moisture, durability when wet, and textile properties suitable for skin friction, as well as its tolerance to many different stresses in washing operations and daily use. Repeated And the color stability of dyes with repeated washing, and friction upon use. Therefore, the research aims to use new cellulosic materials to improve the properties that must be available in terry fabrics because of their many daily uses. Therefore, the research aims to use bamboo as a new raw material in warp pile in terry fabrics.
