Standards and Considerations for the development of sustainable interior design for tourist yachts to achieve the Goals of the International Tourism Organization “UNWTO”

Yacht tourism is a new type of tourism, and the Mediterranean region is an important center for yacht tourism in the world. Yacht tourism is one of the most important sources of hard currency for the country at a time when countries have great opportunities to develop this unique tourism activity in the world, especially Egypt thanks to the length of its coastline of 2.4 thousand kilometers, the richness and diversity of its marine environment, and its possession of more than one marina on the coasts of the White and Red Bahrain, in addition to the volume of yacht tourism worldwide estimated at $ 12 billion annually. This research paper discusses the criteria and considerations needed to develop the interior design of tourist yachts in line with the objectives of the UNWTO.
