Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the sustainable furniture design process has gained significant attention in recent years. Artificial intelligence can help furniture designers create innovative designs that are sustainable and efficient. However, many challenges exist in using AI in the design process, including a lack of appropriate data sets, limited understanding of AI technology, and the need for a collaborative design process. This paper is an analysis of the challenges faced by furniture designers while using artificial intelligence in designing sustainable furniture and proposes solutions to overcome these challenges.The research aims to provide insights into the applicability of AI in sustainable furniture design and identify problems that furniture designers face while using AI in the design process, such as the designer’s need for appropriate datasets, increasing collaboration between designers and AI experts, and developing tailored AI tools Specifically for the furniture industry. On the way to understanding the applicability of AI in sustainable furniture design and providing practical solutions to overcome the challenges faced by furniture designers. Help them create innovative, sustainable and efficient designs.
