Abstract

Fashion and style play a major role in emphasizing the relationship between aesthetic standards, artistic taste, social systems, and cultural and social heritage. Good design expresses the achievement of standards for linking art and technology in design through the processes of controlling science and art and allocating it in the performance of clothing design, which appears through the practical and virtual level of design.
There is no doubt that it is a huge loss to ignore our national heritage and pursue imported fashion without having an independent entity stemming from our authentic national heritage. Arabic calligraphy is one of the most prominent examples of our identity and civilization. It was used as an aesthetic tool to display a specific message in consolidating Islamic values. Most of the writings were Qur’anic verses or wise sayings. Then some of those with an artistic sense turned to looking at writing with an artistic vision aimed at refining the letters and achieving an aesthetic aspect. Some designers also used Arabic calligraphy as decoration on clothes without knowing its true artistic value.
This study aims to use the decorative design of children's clothing in the early childhood stage to consolidate Islamic values and provide technical proposals for their implementation and evaluation by specialists.
