Abstract

Serving the Merciful guests is part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, one of whose goals is to reflect an honorable and civilized image in serving the Two Holy Mosques and the pilgrims by providing them with the best services before, during, and after their visit. This research aims to understand the pilgrims' needs for Hajj clothing and accessories. The study adopted the descriptive approach to provide accurate and comprehensive analysis using the functional, and aesthetic dimensions. The sample included seven hundred individuals who had performed Hajj.
The results showed the inappropriateness of Hajj clothing due to the weather conditions and indicated the difficulty of obtaining multi-use products and the pilgrims' desire for products that reduce heat and sun rays. To achieve this, the study encouraged using fabrics that protect against sun rays, drinking plenty of fluids, using umbrellas, etc.
The research urges fashion designers to consider pilgrims' desires for products that reduce Hajj waste and maintain sustainability. The study recommends conducting more studies to determine the pilgrims' different needs.
