Abstract

Laser technology is one of the latest technologies witnessed in the past decades because of its superior accuracy and many uses. The laser beam is characterized by many characteristics that make it suitable for uses in many fields. The word LASER is an abbreviation for the phrase (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission Recitation), which means (light amplification). Stimulated radiation (Stimulated Emission) is a light beam with photons that share a common frequency and whose waves are identical, such that the phenomenon of interference and construction occurs between its waves, transforming it into a high-energy light pulse. In this research, laser beams are used with the suede and jeans materials of different weights and using different laser techniques (drawing - engraving - and cutting), where the laboratory specifications of the suede and jeans materials are also known to know the effect of the laser beam on the two materials and to know the appropriate weight of the material used and to know the strength of the beam. The user, and motifs from the Indian mandala art are used in making jeans and chamois samples. Because the laser as a technology has a method for implementing it, requirements and equipment when used in clothing design, it has preparatory methods for drafting the design using the computer and based on lines and spaces, which are very similar to the preparations for printing drawings executed using the stencil method. Accordingly, we will discuss some of these methods for drafting drawings and clarifying their lines,
