Abstract

Bioclimatic design is not a new concept but rather an extension of accumulated experience and heritage across generations, based on environmental and climatic knowledge to achieve thermal performance of the building internally. The future of bioclimatic design in the coming decades will represent a complete transition in all areas of life, whether industrial, medical and therapeutic, educational, or any other current conventional form, towards relying on this clean technology. Moreover, it will bring about greater benefits, meaning that it will not only be resorted to for mitigating the damage resulting from other types of technology but its use will also be focused on the multitude of benefits it offers. There is a strong relationship between green technology, sustainability, and implementation techniques for bioclimatic design. Therefore, the application of the bioclimatic interior design concept enhances the efficiency of the building, provides comfort within the dwelling, and achieves the concept of sustainability.
Research Objective:
To establish criteria for using modern contemporary design approaches within spaces to achieve the highest level of climatic adaptation and energy consumption for those spaces while achieving thermal comfort for the indoor environment of the user.
