Abstract

The research problem can be summarized as follows: The majority of implemented and available designs in the market are characterized by a conventional distribution of decorative units. Additionally, there is a scarcity of studies in the natural sciences that serve as a guide for designing innovative fabrics. Therefore, the research objectives are aimed at inventing and deriving new designs suitable for use in innovative upholstery fabrics. Additionally, the aim is to provide a new design methodology that facilitates the creation of numerous modern designs with innovative artistic and aesthetic values. The goal is to produce implemented designs in the form of upholstery fabrics by integrating the fields of Morphology and Pixel Art, thereby elevating the artistic taste of the consumer through a new artistic and aesthetic vision for designing innovative upholstery fabrics. The major findings of the research include obtaining innovative artistic designs through the integration of Morphology and Pixel Art, which possess innovative artistic and aesthetic values. Additionally, a new design approach (Pixel Art) was introduced, enabling designers to achieve different artistic visions. Furthermore, non-conventional and non-existent designs in the market were generated, which, when introduced, can diversify the available design offerings, thus increasing economic popularity and competing in both local and international markets. The research also aims to enhance consumer taste through new designs inspired by the fusion of Morphology and Pixel Art.
