The attitude of the students towards e-learning for clothing manufacturing courses In Makkah region's universities

Abstract

One of the most important learning methods today is E-learning. Education technology has become one of the basic requirements for developing educational systems, and improving various phases of learning. E-learning includes the advantages of distance education as well as technology communication.
In light of (covid-19), some countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adopted the e-learning pattern as a defense against (covid-19) virus, and this pattern came to confront the current disease that educational institutions suddenly observed.
Skill courses related to clothing manufacturing in universities are among the courses that have encountered difficulty in transferring because they contain many performance skills on machines, equipment, and specialized programs. This is what prompted the researcher to conduct research in an attempt to identify the difficulties that female students faced while studying courses related to skills. For example, manufacturing clothing in universities in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region (Jeddah - Makkah - Taif), in addition to identifying their trends and proposals towards the transformation of e-learning in those courses. This is a response to the National Transformation Plan and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which emphasizes the quality of education and the intensive use of e-learning in Educational process
