Abstract

Our era is the digital era. Technology has digitally invaded all fields. Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality have become two common concepts that have entered all technical fields. Artificial intelligence is a simulation and imitation of human intelligence, and augmented reality is a technology in which three-dimensional virtual images overlap with the real world, and thus they aim to understand the complex mathematical operations that the human eye performs while practicing thinking and then translate these mental operations into equivalent mathematical operations that can be visualized virtually in the real world. From this standpoint comes the research question, which is: Is it possible to benefit from artificial intelligence and augmented reality to improve children’s hospitals’ internal environment? The goal was to achieve Innovative designs with patterns that consider the psychological mood of children by using artificial intelligence applications and how to benefit from them. The research followed the descriptive analytical approach to extract the basic concepts for applications of artificial intelligence and augmented reality in the interior design field and analyze design experiments using these applications. One of the most important results of using artificial intelligence applications is that they helped predict the potential design outcomes of using augmented reality (AR) in the interior design of children’s hospitals and generate different design ideas in addition to enhancing the creative process. This is because there is a methodology and content to the idea. Using artificial intelligence techniques in the interior design of children’s hospitals to enhance the internal space.
