The Effect of Utilizing Digital Technologies In the Creation of Artist’s Book (A Digital Printmaking Installation Project - Solo Exhibition Theorizing)

This research presents, theorizes, and thoroughly demonstrates the recent solo exhibition held by the researcher, titled “ASCENSION” that was displayed as an installation in the International Conference held by “The Arab Institution of Knowledge Management” in 2025, utilizing the digital medium and digital prints merged with manufactured objects in a contemporary conceptual setting.
Primarily, the research demonstrates the massive potential and outstanding abilities that the digital medium and digital print provide in the creative and technical process of visual art. Followed by highlighting the unique field of the Artist’s Book, going through its origins and evolution in modern times. The research then explores the impact of the digital medium and the digital print in the creative and technical process of the Artist’s Book production, focusing on the richness and diversity this medium delivers in the production of this unique field of Visual Art.
Finally, the research thoroughly presents the most recent visual art project accomplished by the researcher and exhibited as a solo exhibition, demonstrating in detail the intellectual, philosophical, procedural and technical steps followed, reaching the final visual outcome of the project that has been displayed as a contemporary conceptual installation.
