Abstract

Humankind has achieved numerous means of comfort across many fields through the use of technology. Interior designers have utilized modern technology within homes, transforming them into sustainable living spaces capable of energy recycling and minimizing energy consumption. Technology has greatly impacted sustainable interior design, bringing about tremendous advancements in lighting control systems aimed at conserving energy to maintain the sustainability of the home.
To enhance user health and happiness, energy-saving solutions can be divided into two main categories: efficiency and effectiveness. Efficiency is achieved through high-performance new equipment, lighting, and control systems, as well as by utilizing energy-saving lighting designs. Effectiveness, on the other hand, is accomplished by improving lighting control systems to prevent energy waste and by ensuring lighting levels are always aligned with actual needs. This enables energy cost savings while enhancing human comfort and productivity, ultimately contributing to their happiness.
Creating an integrated lighting control concept is a very important part of the lighting design process. Through direct control and energy consumption management, it is possible to achieve high efficiency in energy management.
