Air transport is described as the known means of transportation for the twenty-first century and there is no other means that competes with it in terms of speed and comfort. Contemporary airports represent huge complexes that reflect the cultural richness and diversity of contemporary life; the airport has become an urban landmark with multiple economic, social and recreational functions so that airports reflect the image of the country more directly than any type of public buildings; the passenger terminal is the main element in the general perception of airports and a symbol whose architecture reflects the charm, richness and measure of the technological progress of the country. In addition to its role as a gateway that reflects the values and requirements of the entire society, dealing with contemporary airports goes beyond dealing with a single building with the possibility of controlling its design and technical solutions. The research problem appeared in the scarcity of advanced technology applications in the interior design of transit halls. The research aims to reach the most famous technical applications used in airports by applying technology in transit halls and analyzing the most famous airports in the world in which advanced technology has been applied.
