Abstract

In the realm of industrial design, the only constant is change. As we move further into the 21st century, the landscape of industrial design continues to evolve, driven by technological advancements, shifting consumer preferences, and a growing emphasis on Biologically Inspired Design.
Industrial designers used to face the challenge of designing products that were functional, aesthetic and ergonomic. Lau Longveld in his published chapter in the “industrial design ,new fronties-2011” introduced the model of black box for industrial designers in which he illustrated the main inputs affecting the designed product(considered them the out put)، in the middle of his black box he located the industrial designer, targeting to highlight what he reffred to as the needs required by the designer to have in to be able to use the inputs and creat the out put in the bestway.
Research Problem statement:
Research problem question:
What are the inputs that can affect the future of industrial design?
What are the needs to be acquired by the industrial designer as a center of the black box model ?
