Smart technology in the interior design of innovation centers and its impact on functional performance

Abstract

Smart interior design is one of the most important modern concepts of digital technology, as it has become invading all fields, and depends on the integration of technology and advanced technologies with the design of interior spaces to improve the work environment and enhance the efficiency of job performance, and this integration is known as smart buildings (Smart buildings) where these technologies are employed to respond to the desires of different users. Innovation centers play an important role in society by encouraging innovation and promoting technological development. The research deals with the impact of smart interior design on technological innovation centers and the use of various technologies in the interior design of innovation centers to reach innovative designs that take into account the aesthetic and functional aspect through modern technologies that improve productivity, help save energy and reduce the operating costs of the building through various building management systems. The research followed the descriptive and analytical approach in describing and identifying the different technologies that can be found inside innovation centers, addressing the concepts of innovation centers and how to design the different internal spaces of innovation centers to suit the needs of different work groups, and analyzing the smart interior designs of a smart innovation center and clarifying the technologies and smart processors in it. One of the most important results of using smart technologies in interior design within innovation centers was to provide a sound working environment for users and respond to their various desires.
